The additional travel and subsistence costs involved, (which are always agreed with the client before commencement), are more than offset by the superior quality and compatibility of information.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT

To fully assess the assignment needs, we arrange a meeting between the client and our consultant(s) following preliminary discussions. This facilitates a clear understanding of all the pertinent issues and their context. With this knowledge we can ultimately offer practical guidance in decision making, and ensure an accurate assessment of the key factors.
After a full examination of the work to be undertaken, we develop a project programme. This is detailed in a proposal outlining:

terms of reference
research methodology
report content
staff and experience
timing and cost

The proposal is prepared free of charge. If accepted, it forms the basis of the assignment, ensuring you always know exactly what to expect from the results.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

We design the research programme around your individual needs, optimally combining desk and field research to achieve the required results cost effectively.

Our consultants use a variety of research techniques, but predominantly use unstructured interviews during original research. This provides a more detailed and informative response through an informal discussion with key interviewees. The technique also allows a greater flexibility to develop each conversation to the maximum benefit of the project.
We always maintain close contact with our clients to combine the professional research and analytical capabilities of our consultants with your product expertise and knowledge. This allows the consultant(s) to verify or assess the importance of emerging information, thereby maximising the effectiveness of the project research.

FORESIGHT

We fully test the research results before analytical assessment. Forecasting is undertaken using a pragmatic approach, and is facilitated by the training of our consultants, who are never satisfied with a response to a question until we understand the reasoning for that response. Only when this is achieved can future developments be projected.

Reports therefore arrive at policy recommendations and act as a constructive aid to decision making. The initial understanding of the context of the assignment guarantees practical suggestions that can be put to immediate effect.

The final report is segmented into chapters for ease of reference. Each chapter contains a summary of the key issues, providing the client with a working tool for all levels of management.

An agreed period is left between the timely delivery of the report to your desk, and a face to face presentation by the consultant(s).
